I am always looking to further my abilities and increase my capacity to help others. For this reason, I am an entry-level member of the Chartered Institute of Editing and Proofreading, and I have completed professional and certified training in proofreading and copyediting: Proofreading 1, Copyediting 1, Proofreading 2, and Copyediting 2. My training to date has covered a broad range of editorial skills, including proficiency in BSI symbols, PDF markup, editorial querying, and typesetter coding. I am also trained in managing references, illustrations, and quotations, navigating editorial conventions in British vs American English, and applying house style guidelines with consistency.
